Headed over to the ranch Monday morning July 30th. arrived around 3PM to sunny skies and temps near 79 degrees. So far this summer since the May trip there has been 3.75 inches of rain! All was fine as it usually is. Rested in the afternoon while Bill read a book. The Mossies were not bad at all this time, but we were prepared with wipes just in case. The bats came out at dusk and were flying around the cabin like race horses, grabbing bugs as they flew just inches above our heads! Went to bed around 10:30 and slept fairly well.
Arose around 7AM on Tuesday morning July 31st to sunny skies and temps in the upper 50's. Headed into Omak to eat at Our Place, Great as usual. Headed back to Tonasket to get a few snacks and glue for the new screen doors. returned to ranch and Bill weed wacked all around the cabin and trailer and the path to the facilities while I did some cabin cleaning and battery testing. Battery is still strong and doing well. peaks around 14.4 volts daily. Nice day with temps around 80 degrees and bice breeze. We decide to leave around 2:30pm and head home. I (Ron) was felling a bit fatigued. Nice easy drive home with a latte stop in Wenatchee. Arrived home around 7:30PM. Bills Hybrid got around 28mpg both ways. Nice vehicle!
